I wanted to take a quick second to share the success I've had in making some technology work together. My MacBook, Nokia e61 (Not e62!! Thanks anyway Cingular but I like WiFi in my phone), coupled with BluePhoneElite makes for a nice mobile worker setup.
This little app has been around for quite a while but I decided to give it another spin after hearing Om Malik rave about it on a recent Om & Niall PodSessions. He and Niall were discussing tools of the trade for web startup guys and BluePhoneElite was mentioned.
If you are hunkered down doing some work at the office or at a café, just set your phone's ringer to meeting and leave it in your bag or pocket. If a call comes in you will be alerted right on your Mac's screen with some options of how to handle it.
I've got it set to pop up a transparent window in huge letters with the name of the caller. I can also more easily initiate calls from my Mac. Just type a few letters and hit call. If it's busy or doesn't answer, sending an SMS takes just a couple of clicks and is much easier than typing on the phone's QWERTY keyboard. This would of even more interest if you have a phone without a keyboard. A call history is also stored on your Mac - handy for re-dialing.
A great app I agree Om! Give it a try with the 10 day demo [not an affiliate link] If you like it, the developer will happily accept your $20 via PayPal.

Fantastic program -- I've been using it for a long while now.
